5th Place Finish at Shippensburg Speedway

The Young Guns 390 Junior Sprints put on a thrilling show for the final series points race of the 2010 season. #5 Sean Case would experience an engine failure during Hot Laps that would prevent him from racing the rest of the night. #15 Tanner Rumburg returned to the series to win the Heat race. The Feature event would see some of the toughest wheel-to-wheel racing action that the Series has put on all year long. #15 Tanner Rumburg started from the pole and #15H Franklin Heinzmann would have him in his sites from the drop of the green. #76 Logan Spahr, 2010 Shippensburg Speedway track Champion, would have his hands full working from the back of the pack trying to get around the hard battling #18 Jacob Moose and #66 Zach Wells. #15H Franklin Heinzmann continued to try every move he could to get past #15 Tanner Rumburg as #76 Logan Spahr moved into third place to join the fight. Coming through T4 near the halfway point #15 Tanner Rumburg and #15H Franklin Heinzmann would go two wide as #76 Logan Spahr would dive low coming onto the front stretch to pull alongside #15 Tanner Rumburg. As the three-way battle entered T1 #76 Logan Spahr would grab the inside line and #15H Franklin Heinzmann pulled right up to his tail tank. With #15 Tanner Rumburg holding strong on the outside line #15H Franklin Heinzmann would make contact with the rear of #76 Logan Spahr as they exited T2. Somehow all three cars would come out and continue the battle down the backstretch before heading into T3. #76 Logan Spahr would slowly pull out to a car length lead as #15 H Franklin Heinzmann worked as hard as he could to make up the distance. With 5 laps remaining #66 Zach Wells would pull up right behind #15 Tanner Rumburg and apply pressure through to the checkered flag with #18 Jacob Moose not far behind.
