Rough start to the 2012 Season
The season opener at Selinsgrove Speedway for the micro sprint divisions was Friday night 4-6-12. Going into the season JMR has a bright outlook towards the 2012 season. In hot laps the car was "tight" due to a very moist racing surface, and chilly temperatures. In the heat race Jacob was starting 3rd, the initial start was waived off by officials. On the second restart going into turn one, Jacob made a move to pass two cars coming off of turn two and moved into second place. Heading into turn 3, his entry was too low, the end result was making contact with the inside wall, resulting in extensive front end damage that ended our night early. Although disappointed with the outcome with the season opener, JMR is not hanging our heads; we are committed to coming back with strong performances to contend for the championship at Selinsgrove. We will be back in action next Friday night at Selinsgrove on 4-13-2012. Video and photos are posted of the turn 3 incident.
