4th Place at Selinsgrove on 4-20-2012
Friday night saw warmer temperatures than previous nights of racing in 2012. Jacob started on the pole in the heat race, he lead the first couple of laps (something that he has not done before), before pulling the incorrect gear in the corner letting a couple of cars get by, but brought the car home in 4th place for the heat race. In the Feature Jacob started 4th and ran 15 strong laps, bringing the car home for a 4th place finish in the feature event. Video is posted under the “video” tab, but the camera got some debris on during the heat race, and we didn’t check it during the night. So the feature event also has the debris on, we will make cleaning the camera lens part of the duties in between races in the future. Jacob is currently sitting in 3rd place in points in the Selinsgrove Points Championship. He will be back in action next Friday night April 27 at Selinsgrove Speedway.
