3rd Place at Selinsgrove 5-18-2012
After two weeks of not being able to get on the race track, 5-4 was rained out, and 5-11 was Jacob's field trip to Washington D.C. and we arrived home late and didn't make the race.
Having a new set-up on the car, we were anxious to put the car on the track, after hot laps Jacob was happy with the car. In the heat race starting 5th, Jacob brought the car home in 2nd place. Starting the feature outside front row, once the green flag dropped, Jacob settled into the #2 position. Exiting out of turn 4, Jacob missed a gear, and dropping back to 4th position. After a caution, Jaocb drove the car back to 3rd place just behind the 2nd place car. We were pleased with the progress we made, but still have some work to do.
Jacob will be back in action next Friday night 5-25 at Selinsgrove Speedway.
