Wenger lands top-five finish in season opener at FALS

McKay Wenger was able to get the 2022 season underway on Saturday afternoon at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) after Mother Nature spoiled a couple of events in the month of March. After a 12.994-second lap in time trials earned the fast time award, Wenger posted a fourth-place finish in his heat, which positioned him 10th on the starting grid for the $2,500 FALS Cup opener. Wheeling his way into the top-five, Wenger marched forward six spots in the 30-lapper to register a fourth-place finish.
