Ashton Winger hops into UMP Modified for Reutimann Memorial at Volusia Speedway Park

Piloting a Jeff Mathews-owned No. 33 UMP Modified for the weekend, Ashton Winger joined a stout 57-car field at Volusia Speedway Park (De Leon Springs, Fla.) on Friday afternoon for the Reutimann Memorial.

Laying down the seventh-fastest lap in his qualifying group, Winger started fourth in his preliminary feature and finished on the podium in third. He trailed Trevor Neville and Mitch Thomas.

For the $10,000-to-win main event on Saturday evening, Ashton ran inside the Top-10 until he pulled off with mechanical issues and finished 12th.
