John Duty finishes 4th at Southern Oregon

On Saturday, John Duty’s No. 5 Late Model was among 14 entries for the $2,000-to-win Coors Light I-5 Silver Bullet Series event at Southern Oregon Speedway (White City, Oregon).

The Double Duty Motorsports driver turned in a runner-up finish in his heat race and started sixth on the grid for the 40-lap A-Main on the 3/8-mile clay oval.

He moved into the top five on Lap 9 and ultimately claimed a fourth-place result in the feature event. Duty followed McLain Beaudoin, Joey Tanner and Collen Winebarger across the start-finish line, with Trent Elliott rounding out the top-five finishers.
