Northwest Extreme Late Model Series Returns To Madras Speedway

Madras, Oregon- In 2014 the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series will return to scenic Central Oregon’s Madras Speedway for the first time since May of 2012. It will be a one night affair with the series coming into town on Saturday May 31st for the only visit to the ¼-mile clay oval this season. The Pacific Northwest’s premier touring Dirt Late Model series has visited Madras a total of four times since the tour was formed in 2010. Of those four events completed there have been three different winners.
“The fans really like the series when they come over and they have always put on a good show “, commented co-owner of Madras Speedway Debi Arnold, “we enjoy having them and are happy they are coming back. We’re really looking forward to the “cartoon” theme they have this year.”
2012 series champion Jason Wines won the first ever visit by the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series back in May of 2010. Wines also earned a victory in the last venture by the organization to Madras back in 2012. Brady Sell and Joey Tanner join him as drivers who have won with the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series at Madras.
The Northwest Extreme Late Model Series will kick off their season on Saturday April 19th at the Cottage Grove Speedway. So far the series will be in action for eighteen different nights at seven facilities throughout the Pacific Northwest.
