2015 Lucas Oil ASCS Opener Coming Fast

TULSA, Okla. (January 26, 2015) The kickoff to the 2015 season for the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real is approaching fast with the series return to East Bay Raceway Park on February 19, 20, and 21.

The series 14th visit to the "Clay by the Bay", Jason Johnson took the win in the series last visit in 2008. Eight drivers have earned victory at East Bay under the ASCS banner, with Terry McCarl leading the win count at four. Driver registration forms for the 14th annual Ronald Laney Memorial are available online at http://www.eastbayracewaypark.com/winternationals/driver-registration.

All teams must run mufflers at East Bay Raceway Park. Recently updated, this year's race at the East Bay Raceway Park will allow teams to utilize the Schoenfeld 14272735-78 or 112535 only.

Along with the Lucas Oil ASCS presented by MAVTV American Real, the three nights will include the Florida Mini Sprints. Racing will be preceded by practice on Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Bubba Raceway Park follows the Ronald Laney Memorial with the series inaugural visit to the Ocala oval on February 27 and 28.

Kicking off 2015 this weekend with the NeSmith Dirt Late Models, the fourth annual Bubba Army Winter Nationals will encompass six sanctioning bodies with racing every weekend for the next five weeks. The Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour serves as the final round of action. Both night's will include Florida Mini Sprints and will be preceded by a practice on Thursday, February 26.
