Banks, Oregon- Sunset Speedway Park is going to host one of the biggest Dwarf Car races in the Pacific Northwest region as the 1/4-mile clay oval will have the Dwarf Car Nationals on Saturday June 13th. There have been some massive car counts throughout the season and with the regulars of the Pacific Hardtop Racing Association scheduled to be on hand, expect there to be well over twenty-five entries. In addition to Dwarf Cars there will also be Street Stocks, 4-Bee's, and both classes of Micro Sprints. And once again our good friends at 98.7 The Bull will be out in full force and are the presenting sponsor of this weekend's event.

Don't forget the rescheduled practice date will be on Sunday June 14th, full details are at the bottom of this release. Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 4:00, and racing starts at 6:30. Tickets for this event are Adults $13.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-18) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.

Defending champion Ryan Martinez is the only other repeat winner in Dwarf Car competition when the class has competed at SSP. Guy Tow Jr. and Chris McCleary have one win each at Banks in 2015. Will Martinez find victory number three this Saturday?

The Street Stocks have been nothing but repeat winners this year. Brian Roden has managed to visit victory lane on three occasions while Tony Catalano and last week's winner, Arnie Case, have twice been victorious.

Chris Batalgia still has shown dominance in the 4-Bee ranks. Batalgia has amassed four wins while newcomer Damion Owen has taken everyone by surprise with his two victories. The only driver to have won once is William Wolfe.

Finally both the Open and Restricted 600cc Micro Sprints will be back at the “Banks Bullring”. 2015 Open winners include Chance Crum, Jake Mann, and Tanner Holm while the Restricted ranks have seen Colby Thornhill, Ashleigh Johnson, and Jesse Schlotfeldt visit victory lane. Thornhill won a non-point exhibition event earlier in the season as well.

On Sunday June 14th Sunset Speedway Park will be hosting the rescheduled practice event lasting from Noon to 5:00 PM. Folks that want to watch from the grandstands there is no charge and it's FREE. Pit Passes are $25.00 each and so are Car/Driver fees. For more information log on tohttp://www.sunsetspeedwaypark.com.
