TULSA, Okla. (September 3, 2014) - After rain washed out the Griffith Truck and Equipment Gulf South Region at the Leesville 171 Speedway on July 19, the second attempt at the event again had to dodge Mother Nature, forcing official to move the date from August 30 to this coming Saturday, September 6.

Hoping for sunshine this Saturday, teams continue to chase Channin Tankersley for the 2014 title. With a 109 advantage over Ray Allen Kulhanek, the Pearson Motorsports No. 28 takes a single victory into the Louisiana stop with eight top-fives, and fifteen top-tens on the season.

Chris Sweeney holds third in driver standings with Klint Angelette and John Pate making the top five.

Saturday, September 6 at the Leesville 171 Speedway gets underway at 8:00 P.M. (CT). More information the track can be found on the Leesville 171 Speedway's Facebook page.
