Brad Bowden Collects ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprint Win At Greenville Speedway

GREENVILLE, Miss. (August 10, 2024) Becoming a common theme at Greenville Speedway, Hernando's Brad Bowden collected $2,000 in his return to Victory Lane Saturday night for the third time since 2023 with the ASCS Hurricane Area Super Sprints.

Chasing Derek Hagar for the lead from the start, traffic would end up being the teller of tales as Hagar found himself trapped behind a pair of slower cars working the tenth circuit.

Leaving the top of the third and fourth turns wide open, Bowden was able to swing wide for the point.

Fending off Hagar's challenge to retake the lead, Bowden would pull away to a commanding 4.486-second advantage at the close of the 25-lap affair. Slipping by for second a few laps after Bowden took the lead, Chase Howard would hold on for silver, with Hagar settling for the bronze. Friday night's winner Jordon Mallett crossed fourth with Ronny Howard fifth.
