Park Jefferson removes World of Outlaws from Schedule
The Park Jefferson Speedway and the World Racing Group have agreed to remove the scheduled World of Outlaws Craftsman® Late Model Series date from the Park Jefferson schedule on July 16. The two sides were unable to agree on terms of the contract for the show. Both groups apologize to any fans and race teams that this decision may impact. For any fans who purchased advance tickets, those tickets will be fully refunded to the credit card they used to purchase the tickets.
“We have a tremendous amount of respect for the World Racing Group and Tim Christman of the World of Outlaws” stated AtoZ Promotions principal Adam Adamson “The World Racing Group sets a very high standard for the tracks it races at, and we were concerned about being able to meet the standards that they require. It is because of this that we decided best to remove the show from the calendar. The World of Outlaws Late Models has a tremendous product and we encourage fans to catch one of their shows in either Webster City or Mason City.”
Park Jefferson is currently exploring options for the July 16th race and want all IMCA race teams to know this will be a full IMCA weekly points night for all five divisions. More details will be available in the near future.
