Nothdurft Follows Speedweeks to Volusia Speedway Park

On Monday afternoon Blair Nothdurft was one of 44 DIRTcar Late Models on hand at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Florida) for the 49th annual DIRTcar Nationals. Following the 11th fastest lap in his time trial group, Nothdurft failed to make it out for his heat race, transferring him into the B-Main. Sending the Top 2 into the $7,000-to-win A-Main, Blair logged a 9th place finish.

On Tuesday night, Nothdurft came in fourth fastest in his time trial group before placing 7th in his heat. Needing a 2nd place finish or better in his B-Main to make the A-Main, Blair fell short with a 6th place finish.

For the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series sanctioned contest on Wednesday, Blair recorded an 8th place outing in his heat, sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the $10,000-to-win A-Main. Locking in the Top 2 finishers, Nothdurft fell back to an 8th place outing.

The following night for the fourth round of the 49th annual DIRTcar Nationals, Nothdurft slipped back to an 8th place finish in his heat, giving him one more shot at the $10,000-to-win A-Main with a B-Main appearance. Needing to place in the Top 2, Blair posted a 10th place finish.

On Friday evening, Nothdurft scored a 6th place finish in his heat, transferring him into the B-Main. Coming one spot shy of a transfer position, Nothdurft registered a 4th place finish.

For the final night of the 49th annual DIRTcar Nationals on Saturday, Blair logged a 9th place finish in his heat, sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the Top 2 into the $10,000-to-win finale, Nothdurft fell short with an 11th place outing.
