Clay County Fair Re-Cap for PlumbFast Racing

Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaw driver Sam Hafertepe Jr. takes the PlumbFast Racing Fusion Energy Boost J&J to the Clay County Fair in Spencer, Iowa last night to compete for the 10 large. Sam started the night out in the right direction setting a fourth quick time out of a field of 28 which lined him up on the inside of the second row in the Heat Race. Sam made the top four to put him in the Dash for the attempt to have better than 10th starting position in the Main Event. Sam started the dash in the 9th position, but as the race went on the motor started having some small issues, so Sam pulled in and settled to start the Main Event in the 10th spot. Not a lot of passing was going on in the Main Event, but Sam put his elbows up and raced the Fusion Energy Boost J&J Chassis up to the 7th spot to give the PlumbFast Racing Team their 14th top ten finish with the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws.
