What is a Promoter Success Rep?

MyRacePass (MRP) works with nearly 900 race promoters across the United States…And growing. MRP offers a near full suite of tools for promoters including the MRP Race Management System, Sanction Management, Website Development, Online Ticketing, Online Registration, Fan Engagement Tools as well as Revenue Generating Tools and of course the MyRacePass App. A Promoter Success Rep will not only strive to gain new promoters on the MyRacePass platform, but will actively work with current clients to engage the promoters deeper into the suite of tools offered.

On a seasonal / minimal basis throughout the year, you will also be our Tradeshow Coordinator. Ever heard of the PRI Show? Yes, you’ll attend that event amongst many others. Your responsibilities will include management of marketing material / tradeshow material needs, driving the oh-so-very-cool MRP Van to events, booth space(s), credentials, etc.

Promoter Success Representative Daily Job Duties
  • Gain knowledge of the company, products and services. Learn to operate new office technologies as they are developed and implemented.

  • Light training of our system to our clients, but you will have a support team to help you.

  • Analyze current clients to achieve future product growth and usage throughout the MRP suite of products/tools.

  • Identify key issues current clients face reporting back to team / management, and identifying these key issues as possibly a misuse or misunderstanding of the product.

  • Educate Promoters on the necessity and ease of use of MRP Online Ticketing and Online Registration.

  • This is a sales position. You will be encouraging promoters who do not use MyRacePass to become a MyRacePass power user, and working with our current promoter clients to use our full suite of tools offered.

  • Initiates sales process by making initial contact, scheduling appointments, identifying needs of the account, closing the sale while building rapport and overcoming objections.

  • Answer sales & technical calls, give information to callers and transfer to appropriate individuals as needed.

  • Establish work procedures, schedules, keep track of the daily work and arrange conferences/meetings with potential/current clients. Be punctual.

  • You will have a general understanding of online marketing through websites, social media and email campaigns.

  • Contribute, compose, type and distribute meeting notes and ideas to management or team. Maintain and implement team building discussions and ideas.

  • Review client usage reports, planning for client success, organizing and implementing marketing campaigns to grow the Promoters Department within MyRacePass.

  • Operate office equipment and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications.

  • Utilize the current project management system on a daily basis.

Tradeshow Coordinator Duties
  • The majority of our events we attend land between September 1st and March 1st. Travel and being away from home during this time will indeed be a thing. The number of days traveling/absent are unknown, but plan for a minimum of 40 total days throughout that timeframe.

  • The MRP Van / Tradeshow Equipment / Marketing Material all lives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. You will need to travel to Sioux Falls prior to events in order to prepare for events.

  • Must have a valid drivers license as you will be the one who drives the MRP Van when needed.

  • Tradeshow setup / teardown and working the event.

  • Assist the Fan Engagement Coordinator with event planning, social media needs, marketing material, giveaways, etc.

  • Here is an example of events we attend:
    PRI Show, Chili Bowl Nationals, Tulsa Shootout, IMCA Super Nationals, WISSOTA 100, RPM Promoters Conferences (Reno, NV & Daytona, FL), Florida Speedweeks, DIRT in December, as well as other promoter workshops and racing events across the country.

We're searching for a senior engineer to join our product engineering team to maintain and build a feature rich platform for all of motorsports. You will bring hard lessons learned and how to recover from mistakes made. If you have never made any mistakes, I would like to meet you, you would be the first. You embrace legacy code and take great pleasure in modernizing a codebase. You will take on a variety of tasks while pair programming in a full stack C# environment, to various other needs of the team which may include React applications, desktop C# applications, CI/CD and automated testing.
