PA Speedweek-Williams Grove, Lincoln, Big Diamond

Sam kicked off The 2013 Pennsylvania Speedweek by setting fast time in time trials this past Friday night at Williams Grove.

Hafertepe started the feature in the 6th position and ran 4th until the last lap when his motor went sour and he hung on for 5th.

The following night at Lincoln Sam just missed quick time settling for 2nd.

The feature saw Sam hold 3rd most of the race despite a flat right rear tire which occured on lap 9. Hafertepe faded over the final laps and limped to 7th.

Sunday night at Big Diamond the team put it all together and following a 2nd place heat run Sam led all 30 laps of the feature from the pole to win and take The Pennsylvania Speedweek Points lead.
