Brad Doty Classic & Kings Royal & Silver Cup

Sam and The Plumbfast Racing Team struggled at The Brad Doty Classic and Kings Royal before a strong performance at The Silver Cup at Lernerville.

A malfunctioning water pump set the team back before time trials at Lima which resulted in 32nd place effort which Sam could never recover from despite a 16th to 7th charge in the B Main.

Sam timed in 23rd and 9th at Eldora but the team could never quite get the car quite right and struggled all weekend which resulted in two DNQ efforts.

The team turned it around at Lernerville at Silver Cup as Sam put it on the pole and ran a strong 3rd in the A Main. The field was inverted by 19 and Sam started 17th. Hafertepe was able move forward nicely to a 10th place finish.
