Kyle Steffens entered a single event over the weekend on Friday with a trip to Brownstown Bullring (Brownstown, Ill.) to pilot his Performance Plus Global Logistics No. 8 DIRTcar Modified for the MARS Championship Series-sanctioned Brownstown 100.
After racing into the $3,000-to-win A-Main with a fourth-to-second run in his heat race, Kyle suffered a broken driveshaft on lap 37 while challenging Tyler Nicely for the top spot, ending his night prematurely.
