Herrington charges to runner-up finish in 602 Late Model at Cochran Motor Speedway

Staying close to home over the weekend, Wil Herrington piloted a David Poole-owned No. 00 machine for a $3,000-to-win 602 Late Model special.

Starting eighth in the 30-lap main event, Herrington pushed forward through the field but came up just one spot short of the victory. He trailed Kenny Collins while Chase Giddens completed the podium.
