Wil Herrington scores pair of $2,500 victories in Independence 50 at Cochran Motor Speedway

Pulling double duty in the Late Model and Street Stock classes, Wil Herrington pulled into his home track of Cochran (Ga.) Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon for the Independence 50 show.

Herrington set quicktime among 14 Late Model entries and led wire-to-wire in the 40-lap main event to take the $2,500 payday over Jordy Nipper and Brandon McDaniel.

Starting further back in the CRUSA Street Stock main event, Wil charged from 13th to the lead in the 30-lap feature and took home another $2,500 paycheck.
