The Championship Battle Tightens as The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series Heads North of the Border
The Outlaws roll into Autodrome Drummond, Cornwall Motor Speedway and Ohsweken Speedway

CONCORD, N.C. - July 25, 2014 - With the 'Month of Money' in full swing and a tightening championship points battle, the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series heads to Canada for a three race swing that will bring the series into Quebec and Ontario.

Daryn Pittman scored his 11th win of the season at Fulton Speedway on July 23 and brought Donny Schatz's points lead down to just 55 points. Pittman, the reigning Outlaws champion, has two more wins on the season than three-time champion Schatz, but Schatz has more top-fives, top-tens and quick times.

Schatz has history on his side going into Canada with wins at both Cornwall Motor Speedway and Ohsweken Speedway. Last year, Schatz finished second at Autodrome Drummond.

Autodrome Drummond hosts the Outlaws on Saturday, July 26. The Outlaws then swing into Cornwall Motor Speedway on Sunday, July 27 before heading to Ohsweken Speedway for the Six Nations Showdown on Tuesday, July 29.

The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series next takes on the Prelude to the Ironman and the Ironman 55 at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 on Aug. 1 and 2 before heading to Knoxville, Iowa for the biggest prize in sprint car racing - Knoxville Nationals.
