What do you do for a living?
Self Employed - Courier Business

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your family? Hobbies or interests? I make maple syrup in the spring with the family. I sell it if anyone is interested. Enjoying going to NASCAR races once a year.

Do you remember when you first began to race (year) and why?
2019. I worked in the pits in 2018 lining up cars for the races. I enjoyed it so much I thought I would give it a try the following year. I went out and bought a four cylinder at the beginning of the season and started to race it.

What was the biggest challenge in 2019 at Laird and how do you think you change that going to 2020?
Learning setups for the car. Four cylinders do not need much adjusting but tire pressures if set right can make one race car driver's life so much easier. I am moving up to the Sportsman Class this year which is like starting from the start again.

Based upon your experiences at Laird Raceway, tell us your most exciting moments of racing or as a spectator?
Winning the 2019 points championship.

Significant Other?
Laura Maki (Girlfriend)

Who is a clean driver you really enjoy racing with?
Kayla Kurnell raced hard on the track but would laugh a lot when off the track

On the opposite side of that, is there anyone who always seems to make it particularly hard on you?
The Fewchuks. They started to come towards the end of the season. They brought a new level of competition for everyone since they are seasoned drivers. I had to step up my game to compete with them.

Any final words?
Do not hesitate to follow a dream. I always wanted to race. If I did not go out and buy the car. I would not of known how much fun and exciting it was. Plus the friends and memories you make at a race track are unforgettable.
