WELLS ON THE WAY!
Rob Wells has been part of the Late Model scene for many years now, and this season will see the CTM Recruitment Racing team step it up a notch!
While Rob has contested a few Renegade Race Fuels & Lubricants Winter Series shows to keep his eye in and to test his brand new car, the teams main focus has been building a new transporter which will have them in good stead for the season ahead.
“It’s been a a huge off season for us” smiles Rob. “We have been busy building our two car semi trailer which has all the bells and whistles required, while I have also built a brand new car from the ground up, and then ran a couple of winter shows with to mainly do research and development on it before we start to get serious with it!”
At this stage Rob is planning to do more Pro Dirt Series shows than in previous years, with the Title and Nationals events being a big focus.
“The Nationals will be an awesome event for our race team” says Rob. “We are hoping to have two, possibly three CTM Recruitment Pty Ltd race cars on the grid headed by Luke Halliday in the #94 machine!”
Rob is full of praise for his team, including Jeff and Luke Halliday and Rhys Wells amongst all his other helpers, as well as the teams sponsors who make it all possible: CTM Recruitment, CTM Logistics, Northsyde Whitewalling, Racin’ and Halliday Racing.
The debut of the transporter will be a major achievement for the team and Rob is looking forward to supporting Luke and maybe even another driver throughout the upcoming season.
“We just want to finish as many races as possible, but more than that, just enjoy the opportunity to race our cars!”
