Bergman Ready for ASCS Red River Region Weekend in Oklahoma and Kansas

Inside Line Promotions – SHAWNEE, Okla. (April 17, 2018) – Seth Bergman will tackle an ASCS Red River Region doubleheader this weekend.

Bergman is scheduled to compete on Friday at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla., and on Saturday at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kan.

“It’s important for me to continue racing week to week,” he said. “It keeps me fresh in the seat and keeps my racing mind improving. You don’t get to really practice in these things. The more time you spend in them the better you’ll get.”

Bergman has enjoyed a lot of success at Creek County Speedway, where he’s won during each of the last two seasons and in five of the last seven years. In fact, Bergman has an 11-race top-10 streak during winged sprint car races at the track dating back to 2012. He also has earned a podium finish during his last four winged sprint car races and in six of his last seven winged sprint car starts at the oval.

“For a little track it’s pretty fun to race when it gets wide,” he said. “We’ve had a lot of success there.”

Bergman posted a fourth-place finish in September 2012 during his lone visit to Caney Valley Speedway.

“I remember it was small and pretty racy,” he said. “Hopefully the weather cooperates and we can get both races in this weekend.”
