Seth Bergman Returning For Title Run With American Sprint Car Series In 2024

CONCORD, N.C. (April 12, 2024) A name long associated with the American Sprint Car Series, Washington native Seth Bergman will make his return to the National Tour in 2024.
After running part-time the last five years, focusing on his family and business – Evergreen Coffee Co. in Owasso, Okla., – pieces are back in place for Bergman to make another run at the National championship.
“I'm looking forward to it. Trying to accomplish something I haven't done before by winning a championship at a national level with ASCS,” Bergman said. “Even more exciting, it's owned by World Racing Group, and I'm looking forward to seeing what they can do with the series.”
Bergman has already started his 2024 season off on the right foot with an impressive 15th-to-first run at Creek County Speedway with the ASCS Sooner Region in March. That brought him to 71 career ASCS wins across the National Tour and regional series.
On the National Tour alone, Bergman has already collected 18 wins, 108 top-five finishes and 208 top 10s. He’s one of only 13 drivers with more than 300 Feature starts in ASCS National competition. He scored a career-best points finish of second in 2018 – his last full-time season on the National Tour.
Despite not running full-time as of late, that doesn’t change Bergman’s mindset.
“Even when I'm not running full-time, I treat it like I am,” Bergman said. “I haven’t changed much in the program aside from going to Rider Engines, but from what I am hearing, there are going to be a lot of really good teams this year, and that gets me excited knowing it’s going to be probably the most competitive it's been in a while. I love a challenge. It drives me and gives me purpose to be the best.”

The 2024 American Sprint Car Series National Tour begins on Friday-Saturday, April 19-20, at Super Bee Speedway in Chatham, La.
The 2024 season marks the 33rd season of competition for the American Sprint Car Series. Spearheaded by the American Sprint Car Series National Tour, the ASCS Nation includes Regional Tours encompassing Wing and Non-Wing competition.
