Bradley Cox Competes in KKM Giveback Classic
Bradley Cox rolled north to Port City Raceway (Tulsa, Okla.) over the weekend for the 2023 edition of the Keith Kunz Giveback Classic.
Forty-five Restricted Micro competitors entered Thursday's program, and unfortunately motor issues forced Bradley to scratch from the balance of the program following qualifying.
With a new motor in his No. 45 entry for Friday, Bradley hit the ground running with the fourth fastest time in his qualifying group before charging to a heat race win. Starting 10th on the feature grid, Bradley raced to as high as the sixth position before ultimately recording a ninth-place finish in the 25-lap feature.
The weekend drew to a close on Saturday night, where Cox was lined up ninth on the grid for his Last Chance Qualifier. He raced to a fourth-place finish, which moved him onto a B-Main, which he won from the fourth-starting spot.
Starting the main event in 16th, Bradley moved forward three spots to finish 13th.
