Engine Issues at Beaver Dam
Engine issues continued in the #64 STM Sprint Car Friday night at the Beaver Dam Raceway in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. After qualifying second, Scotty would start on the outside pole of the heat race event. He jumped out into the early lead but smoke started to come from under the hood half way through. Scotty finished the heat race in the second position, but after further inspection, the team decided to call it a night.
The STM team should be back in action this coming Saturday night at the Dodge County Fairgrounds in Beaver Dam, WI. This will be the final night of the 2013 race season for the MSA Sprint Series.
