Haiden Cowan 11th in National 100; Gavin Cowan competes in World Short Track Championship
Gavin Cowan kicked off the busy weekend for the Cowan-Brothers Racing team by competing at The Dirt Track at Charlotte (Concord, N.C.) for the ninth annual World Short Track Championship.
Missing the setup during his qualifying run, Gavin ran 10th in a heat race on Friday and was unable to get to a transfer spot on Saturday for the $4,000-to-win main event.
Haiden joined the XR Super Series on Saturday and Sunday afternoon for the 50th-annual National 100 at East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.).
Recording a DNF in Saturday's $15,000-to-win opener, Cowan completed all 100-laps in the finale and finished just outside the Top-10 in 11th.
