Clay Stuckey records strong fourth-place finish with Comp Cams at Magnolia
On Friday afternoon, the Stuckey brothers invaded Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) for the first night of the Cotton Pickin' 100 with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series.
Among a strong field of 46 Late Models, Jarret recorded the 10th-fastest lap in his group while Clay earned quicktime honors in qualifying. In the $4,000-to-win feature, Jarrett recorded a 22nd-place finish while Clay landed inside the Top-5 in fourth. He trailed race-winner Billy Moyer Jr., Evan Ellis, and Ashton Winger while Sam Seawright completed the Top-5.
For Saturday's $12,000-to-win show, Jarret was unable to make the A-Main after a ninth-place outing in his B-Main, but Clay nabbed the final transfer spot in his B-Main and recorded a 16th-place finish in the 60-lap main event.
