Clay Stuckey finishes out Central Arizona Raceway visit with seventh-place finish
Clay Stuckey along with his Black Diamond Racing crew returned to Central Arizona Raceway (Casa Grande, Ariz.) on Thursday afternoon to kick off the second weekend of the Ernie Mincy Early Thaw.
Following a sixth-to-third charge in his heat race, Stuckey started the 30-lap feature from the second row and ran second to Tyler Peterson at the checkered flag.
With the field elevated to 32 Late Models on Friday, Clay started eighth in the A-Main before a mechanical failure resulted in a DNF.
Earning a spot in the $3,000 finale on Saturday, Stuckey drove from 14th to seventh for his fifth Top-10 of the event.
