Clayton Stuckey collects trio of Top-10 finishes in fourth week of Hell Tour; podium outing at Paducah
Primed to tackle another week of the DIRTcar Summer Nationals, Clayton Stuckey unloaded his Black Diamond Racing No. 15 machine at Old No. 1 Speedway (Harrisburg, Ark.) to kick off week four of the Hell Tour.
Opening up the week with a car count of 42 Late Models, Stuckey fell to fourth in his heat race and started 13th in the $5,000-to-win feature where he managed to finish Top-10 in 10th.
Wednesday's event at Benton (Mo.) Speedway was washed out.
Picking up a Last Chance Showdown victory on Thursday, Stuckey charged to an 11th-place finish at Riverside International Speedway (West Memphis, Ark.).
For the first $10,000-to-win show of the week, Stuckey fell to seventh in his heat and wound up starting 20th in the main event. Keeping his nose clean in the 40-lap A-Main, Clayton stormed through the field and landed on the podium in third.
Keeping his momentum rolling at Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway on Saturday, Stuckey finished sixth in the 50-lap feature before wrapping up the weekend at Tri-State Speedway (Haubstadt, Ind.) on Sunday with a 13th-place outing.
