Clayton Stuckey wraps up DIRTcar Summer Nationals during week five of Hell Tour
Losing the first two events of the week to Mother Nature, Clayton Stuckey checked in with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals at Butler Speedway (Quincy, Mich.) on Thursday afternoon to kick off week five.
With 29 Late Models checked in for the week's opener, Stuckey started the quick 30-lap feature from the fifth-row and raced to a Top-5 finish in fifth.
As the field exploded to 53 entries at Crystal (Mich.) Motor Speedway on Friday, Clayton charged forward to a transfer position in his heat but quickly fell backwards in the $10,000-to-win A-Main to finish 21st.
For Saturday's Birthday Race at Oakshade Raceway (Wauseon, Ohio), Clayton recorded an 11th-place outing, finishing just outside the Top-10.
With the week coming to a close at Wayne County Speedway (Orrville, Ohio) on Sunday, Stuckey found himself back in the Top-10 with an eighth-place finish in the $5,000-to-win finale.
Stuckey finished sixth in the week five point standings.
