Stuckey competes in Illinois and Missouri swing with MARS Late Models
With the Summer Nationals in the rear view mirror, Clayton Stuckey returned to MARS Late Model competition on Friday afternoon with a visit to Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway.
Among a stout 35-car field, Stuckey was unable to make the $5,000-to-win main event after missing the transfer spot by one position.
The following two nights at I-55 Raceway (Pevely, Mo.) and Adams County Speedway (Quincy, Ill.), Stuckey found more of the same luck with two DNF finishes.
Stuckey also competed in the first night of the Davenport Deal at Davenport (Iowa) Speedway on Monday where he would not make the $15,000 A-Main after finishing eighth in a B-Main. Tuesday's event at the track was rained out.
