Clay Stuckey lands pair of Top-10 finishes at Benton and Tri-State with Hell Tour
Losing Monday's opening event to Mother Nature, Clay Stuckey and the Black Diamond Racnig team rolled into Benton (Mo.) Speedway on Tuesday evening to kick off the fourth week on the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour.
Finishing third in a heat race, Stuckey stormed forward in the 30-lap, $5,000-to-win feature and landed inside the Top-5 in fifth. Finishing outside the Top-15 on Wednesday, Clay went on the finish 13th twice in a row at LaSalle (Ill.) Speedway and Red Hill Raceway (Sumner, Ill.).
Stuckey found more speed on Saturday night as he drove to a sixth-place finish at Tri-State Speedway (Haubstadt, Ind.) before finishing 14th in the week's finale at Duck River Raceway Park (Shelbyville, Tenn.) on Sunday.
