Cameron Weaver grabs pair of third-place finishes over Fourth of July weekend

Kicking off his holiday weekend on Thursday, Cameron Weaver checked in at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) among 20 604 Crate Late Models.

Missing the mark during qualifying, Weaver started from the sixth-row in the 25-lap main event and stormed forward to a podium finish in third. He trailed Tyler Price and Mitchell Childress.

Weaver drove to another third-place outing at Crossville (Tenn.) Speedway in the $3,000-to-win Crate feature on Friday before wrapping up the weekend with an eighth-place run at Thunder Mountain Speedway (Corbin, Ky.) on Saturday.
