Westhafer and Dewease Get First Wins For 2015
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars beat the rain Friday night with Rodney Westhafer taking his first win of the 2015 season. Rodney has help this year on the #44 from Don Kreitz Jr and Davey Brown. Lucas Wolfe in the 5w was 2nd. Saturday night at Port Royal Speedway Greg Hodnett put on a passing display coming from the 13th spot for his 2nd series win of the year. At Lincoln Speedway Lance Dewease took the lead from Billy Dietrich on lap 18 and went on for his first win of the year with Adam Wilt 2nd. Sunday night Susquehanna Speedway Park ran their first of 8 Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil point series shows for 2015. Danny Dietrich took the feature win in an exciting battle with Ryan Smith and Don Kreitz Jr. Danny even slammed the turn 1 fence but it never stopped him. It was Danny's 2nd series win of the year.
The Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars are back Williams Grove Speedway Friday April 17th for the Tommy Hinnershitz Spring Classic. The following day Saturday April 18th Port Royal Speedway and Lincoln Speedway both have shows. Bedford Speedway will host the All Stars with the Speedway Motors/Champion Racing Oil Central PA Sprint Cars on Sunday April 19th.
With his 2nd win Greg Hodnett moved back in to 1st place in points. Danny Dietrich is 2nd with Brian Montieth 3rd.
