Three top-10 finishes highlight June

Hitting the track just three times in June, Jim Gray recorded a seventh, sixth and second.

• Jim started 12th and finished seventh at Duck River Raceway Park on June 8. Veteran driver and two-time Crate Racin’ USA national champion David Earl Gentry of Murfreesboro, Tenn., picked up the win.

• Starting 12th, Jim passed six cars and fell one spot short of notching his second top-five finish of the season as he finished sixth at Duck River Raceway Park on June 15. Murfreesboro, Tenn.’s Landon Franklin was the feature winner.

• Making his first-ever start at Windy Hollow Speedway in Owensboro, Ky., Jim started third in the June 16 main event and finished runner-up in the feature. Jim qualified third and finished third in the heat. Zach Dennis of Owensboro won the main event on a scorching hot Sunday afternoon.
