Ty Giles spends Labor Day weekend at Penton and East Alabama

After the Crate Racin' USA event at East Bay was lost to Mother Nature, Ty Giles hit up two tracks close to home for their weekly events over Labor Day weekend.

Among a talented 604 Late Model field at Penton (Ala.) Raceway on Friday, Giles started sixth in the 25-lap feature and made up one spot to finish fifth.

Headed to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) the following night, Ty recorded another Top-10 finish with an eighth-place outing.
