Matt Dooley runner-up with Crate Racin' USA at Senoia Raceway

Pulling double duty in the rescheduled Independence Shootout, Matt Dooley competed with Crate Racin' USA and the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway on Saturday night.

After qualifying in each division, a major storm engulfed the racetrack and pushed the event to Sunday afternoon. In the $15,000-to-win HTFSDS feature, Dooley was an early retiree but scored a podium finish with Crate Racin' USA as he finished second to Zach Leonhardi in the $3,000-to-win feature.
