Ninth-place finish at Cochran Motor Speedway

On Thursday afternoon, Matt Dooley tried his luck against the Southern Nationals Series and attempted to make the $7,544-to-win Roscoe Smith Classic at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway.

Qualifying 12th-quickest in his group, Dooley finished sixth in his B-Main and just missed the cut for the A-Main.

Losing the event at Penton on Friday, Matt rolled down to Cochran (Ga.) Motor Speedway on Saturday and finished ninth in the $1,200-to-win Late Model feature.
