Season Ending
Christi Hoenshell’s 2011 race season has now come to an end with satisfying results. Hoenshell had 3 heat race wins, 3 - Top 3 A Main finishes, 6 - Top 5 A Main finishes and 1 A Main feature win of the season. Hoenshell states, “This season went really well for us besides running into a little motor problem in the middle of the season. We got it fixed and went back out there and started running well again. It was a lot of fun getting to run the winged car again. I am very excited for next season because now that we are back in the swing of things, I think that we will be even more competitive next year!”
Hoenshell raced and finished every race this season and ran well enough to finish 2nd in track points at LA Raceway. She is hoping to be able to claim the championship next year at LA Raceway to get her first Track Championship in the sprint car.
It is now time to start the maintenance on the car for next year so she can go back out on the track and show the boys how it’s done!
