MASON HELLENBRAND COLLECTS FIRST DELLS WIN IN 602 OUTLAW LATE MODELS

Wisconsin Dells WI 5/11/24-Verona Wisconsin’s Mason Hellenbrand collected his first career Lefthander Performance 602 Outlaw Late Model Feature Win on Gandrud Perfornance Parts night at the races at DRP. Starting from the pole next to Veteran race Pete Moore Hellenbrand would fight off Moore to take the lead. Hellenbrand would be challenged on multiple restarts but never lost his grip on the 21 car Outlaw field. Hellenbrand would be followed to the checkers by Steven Schultz, Tanner Berge, Brad Wartham and Dennis Prunty. Brad Wartham was fast qualifier on the night with a lap of 14.227. The Diamond Racing Wheels Fast Dash was won by Steven Schulz while the Heat races were won by Larry Johnson and Mike Hanson. The Lefthander Performance 602 Outlaw Late Models return to action at Dells Raceway Park June 1st as part of the Trickle 99 Alive for 5 Super Late Model race #2.
