Perricone partners with Gaerte Engines for 2017
This year marked the 20th season racing sprint cars for Jim Perricone and the JBMotorsports 10P. Behind Jim throughout the years has been long time crew chief Bob Thompson. Jim has raced both 360 and 410's throughout the years but doing both divisions part time. The team is excited to announce that we will finally be making the leap to race 410's on a regular basis. When we asked Jim why now, "Its the right time, I just started a great job in New York City and we have finally partnered with a great 410 Engine builder." Jim will partner in 2017 with Gaerte Racing Engines out of Rochester, Indiana. Having new and fresh motors will make the team much more competitive next year. Jim mentioned, "Our goal is to race 10 World of Outlaw and 10 Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions shows in 2017." The team found success with the World of Outlaws at the Iron Man 55 show in Pevely in August. Jim made his first Outlaw A main and finished 20th. With the support of current sponsors J&J Auto Racing, Bell Racing Helmets, Butlerbuilt Seats,K&N Filters, Kreitz Oval Track parts, Unlimited Wings and Hinchman Indy Suits, 2017 will be a banner year for JBMotorsports.
