Jamie Ball gets win # 1 at English Creek

The first race of the season took place at English Creek Speedway. 2009 will be mainly spent racing English Creek Speedway along with a few other races in Missoui and Montana. The race would start off with Ball starting fourth in the first heat. About five laps in the eight lap heat race Ball would take the lead and check out from the rest of the field. The second heat Ball would start in third and have some small motor issues. He would go on to finish a strong second. The A-Main field was set and once again "the battle of the 5's" would continue. Nick DeMoss #5 was on pole and Jamie Ball #5Jr was on the front row outside. Ball would go onto lead every lap. This win was a very convincing win as both Ball and DeMoss would comfortably finish in front of the rest of the field. After the race Jamie was very excited and said, "All of our hard work has paid off. The new SKE Karts simply worked great. I have never had a car handle so good all night long. All night long we were the one to beat. All thanks goes out to SKE Karts, Straight Up Performance Larry Ball Jr & Jody Hegwood. With out all of my good sponsors friends and family none of this would be possible." One race down in 2009 and so far one win. The 2009 season looks to be a great one for Jamie Ball and the Outlaw Karting of Iowa team.
