Jamie Ball- Twin Feature Night
(White Lightning Motorsports) – July 3, 2010 –

This week would see the Delta Oil #5J race on Saturday July 3, 2010 at the Knoxville Raceway. Our teams 305 engine was still getting ready to race so once again we only raced our 360 sprint car.

This weekend was twin feature night and I would miss the invert for the heat races due to not making the top eighteen in qualifying. I would start seventh in my heat race and I would go onto to finish in seventh place. Next up was the B-Main. The top five cars would transfer to the twin features. I would end up running in the fifth and final transfer position. Next up was A-Main #1. I would start twentieth position and be running around seventeenth when the car started to shake going past the flag stand on lap ten. I shut the engine down and coasted to a stop off turn two. Turns out the engine blew up and it would end our night.
