Badger Midget Auto Racing Association
Stark, Corson, Peterson Lead Field into Angell Park's Dahlke Memorial
The Advanced Fastening Supply Badger Midget Auto Racing Association is back on the track this Sunday, May 19, at Angell Park Speedway for the track's traditional opening night, the first Sunday after Mother's Day.
Kyle Stark leads the way with a slim, one point advantage over last week's Sycamore winner, RJ Corson. In third is Brian Peterson, who is 12 points out of the top spot. Cody Weisensel and Matt Rechek round out the top five. The first three are the only drivers to make all three features this year.
For Badger, it's the second-annual Dahlke Memorial, with a purse bolstered by over $12,000, beyond their normal purse, thanks to support from fans and sponsors.
The IRA 410 Sprint Cars and newly formed Midwest Legends Dirt Series are also on the card.
At the track, there will be a limited number of event T-shirts, Coozies and hats for sale.
