Race Marathon Update
So far the first 3 races have not gone as anyone had hoped. For the first time in almost 2 months Doe Run was rained out on Friday. Saturday, Zumwalt Motorsports made the trip out West to the Washington Town & Country Fair but rain was going off and on while the team was at the track. When the spot rain stopped POWRi got the show on the road. After a mistake in the qualifier the team missed out on the event. Wednesday was supposed to be Bel-Claire but on Sunday they discovered a punctured left front tire. They ordered new tires but the tires would not arrive in time to fix the car for Wednesday. The team will be at Doe Run Friday and then Southern Illinois Raceway Saturday where they plan to make there wingless debut and maybe run wing as well.
