Howard Moore Embarks on Inaugural Wingless Short Track Nationals

Howard Moore was one of 36 American Sprint Car Series (ASCS) Elite Series entries on hand for the opening round of the inaugural Wingless Short Track Nationals presented by KNP Painting on Friday night at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Ark.).

After starting sixth and finishing fifth in his heat race, Howard was relegated to a B-Main, where he finished in the third-and-final transfer spot, which locked him into the 20th-starting spot in the feature. He would go on to advance four spots to finish 16th.

On Saturday night, Howard would see his bid to qualify for the weekend finale come up just short with a 5th-place finish in his B-Main.
