Moore Tops Riverside Field During The 11th Hooker Hood Classic

WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. (May 11, 2024) Taking things home this past weekend, Tennessee's Howard Moore scored his second win of the season with a $3,000 score at the famed Riverside International Speedway.

Adding his name to the list of winners at the Hooker Hood Classic, Moore wheeled the A.G. Rains owned No. 3 from the right of the front row in the night's feature event, after finishing third in his Heat Race. Taking off with the lead at the start, Moore was overtaken in lapped traffic by two-time event winner, Derek Hagar.

Seeming like it was going to be win No. 3 for "The Guy", the No. 9jr ended up tangling with a slower car, and put Moore back to the point, where he never looked back.
